We Value Transparency.
Budget - Curriculum - Security - Training

At Daylily Learning, we recognize the amount of trust parents are showing us when they enroll their child in our programs. As parents ourselves, we feel it important to be completely transparent with all of our learning families about how we run so they can know their children are in good hands. In keeping with our goal for full parent inclusion in our operations, we want to assure you about four things which will be explained in greater detail below.

1. We run our organization on a non-profit model.

2. We share our complete curriculum with our learning families.

3. We allow parents consistent access to live video feed of each day's lessons.

4. All Daylily Learning employees are parents who have received background checks, CPR training, and have experience in education.

Non-Profit Budgeting

From our beginning, and until Daylily Learning receives official non-profit status, we are operating on a non-profit model of budgeting. That means that our budget is available to parents to see, and all funds that exceed projected income are put straight back into the program. It's never going to be used for employee bonuses or anything outside of the program budget. For example, say we have more students enroll in a program than what we expected in our budget; their extra tuition will be set aside for future programming expenses - like better or more supplies and opportunities for the learners themselves.

Shared Curriculum

We want parents to know what their children are being taught as well as what lessons to expect each day so they can reinforce with their learner at home. Parents will be able to have access to a copy of our comprehensive curriculum and resources for whichever program in which their child is enrolled. If parents would like to review a lesson sample, they can request one at info@daylilylearning.com.

We even encourage open communication from parents so they can feel welcomed to provide insights as to how their child learns best. Being able to work together with parents to tailor the curriculum to fit their child's needs will assure a solid learning foundation.

Accessible Security

We want our parents to feel at ease that their child is safe as well as have the ability to monitor their child's progress within our programs. Because of this it is very important to us for parents to have access to our video feed of programming. This of course means that any parent who enrolls their child in our programs must consent to their child being on video. Recorded video of programming will be available for up to seven days after each session. But until that point and in real time, parents are welcome to witness the joy of our learning! We have partnered with Nooie to provide this service and have loved using their cameras!

Trained Staff

Daylily Learning was born from our founder's passion to nurture the spiritual as well as scholastic strength of each learner. Every Daylily Learning employee is hand-picked because they share this vision. In addition to their faith in God, they have experience in education and a desire to help the next generation gain confidence in their own intelligence and characters. While this drive is absolutely essential to bringing about our mission, it is just one side of providing quality and safe learning opportunities for our learners. All employees (and volunteers!) must have a background check before participating in programming. Beyond this, it is also expected of teaching staff that they are CPR-certified and seek continual training on best practices in education and child development.
